These are closing ranks from the final round of AP EAPCET 2025 counselling for CSE branch. If your predicted rank (from the AP EAMCET rank predictor above) is equal to or lower than the number shown for your category, you have a strong chance at that college.
A "—" means no seat was allotted in that category in 2025 (too few seats or no eligible candidates). Very high numbers (e.g. 1,52,900) indicate those category seats were available even at very high ranks — meaning competition was low in that category at that college.
Approximate OC closing rank ranges across CSE, ECE, and Mechanical branches. BC-A/B/C/D/E ranks are approximately 1.5–1.9× the OC rank. SC ~2.8× · ST ~3.5×.

85% of seats in each AP college are reserved for students from the same local area (studied Class 9–12 there). This is a major advantage you must leverage during AP EAPCET counselling.
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) — commonly still called AP EAMCET — is the primary gateway for engineering admissions in Andhra Pradesh. Conducted by JNTU Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE, it admits students to 250+ engineering colleges across the state including government, aided, and private institutions. Our AP EAMCET rank predictor 2026 uses official SCHE data so you know exactly where you stand before results.
A crucial update since 2024: IPE (Intermediate Public Examination) weightage has been removed. Until 2023, ranks were calculated as 75% EAPCET + 25% IPE. From 2024 onwards, your rank is purely determined by your EAPCET score out of 160. This makes AP EAPCET one of the most straightforward exams for rank prediction — no normalization, no board marks, just your raw exam performance.
Another student-friendly feature: AP EAMCET has absolutely no negative marking. Each correct answer gets +1 mark, wrong answers score 0. With 160 questions in 3 hours, time management and attempting all questions is a winning strategy.
Always check official SCHE notification for 2026 formula confirmation.
Once you know your rank from the AP EAPCET rank predictor above, choosing the right branch at the right college is the most important decision of your engineering journey.
After results, APSHE (Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education) conducts web counselling at eapcet-sche.aptonline.in. The process is fully online with multiple rounds.
